Mercedes-Benz GLA, AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelifts to Launch on January 31st: What to Expect

Get ready for a double dose of Mercedes-Benz excitement! The German automaker is all set to launch the facelifted versions of the GLA and AMG GLE 53 Coupe in India on January 31st. Both cars have been eagerly awaited by car enthusiasts, and we can't wait to see what they bring to the table.

Mercedes-Benz GLA Facelift

Under the hood, the GLA facelift is expected to be offered with two engine options: a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with 163 hp and a 2.0-litre diesel engine with 190 hp. Both engines will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

In terms of features, the GLA facelift is expected to come loaded with goodies like a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, and a host of driver assistance systems.

Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelift

The AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift is a more substantial update, with changes to both the exterior and interior. The exterior gets a new Panamericana grille, larger air intakes, and new diffuser. The interior gets the same updates as the GLA facelift, along with some AMG-specific touches like performance seats and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

The AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift is powered by the same 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six engine as the pre-facelift model, but it now gets a 48V mild-hybrid system that bumps up the power to 435 hp. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

In terms of features, the AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift gets all the bells and whistles, including a head-up display, a Burmester sound system, and a host of driver assistance systems.
